Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I’ve been getting quite a few questions lately about how to use different types of equipment at the gym. So today, I’m going to show you all a few of my favorite kettlebell moves that can really bring your workout to that next level!
If you don’t have a gym membership (or even if you do), I highly suggest picking up a kettlebell at a nearby sports shop or retail store. It’s an investment, especially if you need a heavy one (because the heavier they get the bigger the price). However, it is an investment that is so worth it.
I got the kettlebell in this video for $16 bucks from Walmart, and I use it in my workouts at home all the time. On those nights I really hate the idea of going to the gym, it’s helped me make better workouts at home possible. Also, a lot of kettlebell moves are a really fun way to gain some strength. Kettlebell Workout
Turn these exercises into a workout! Find a kettlebell weight that challenges you, but you can still complete your sets and reps while maintaining proper form. Note- that may mean using a different weight on different exercises- that’s okay (and normal). Perform 3 sets of 10-15 reps of each exercise, focusing on maintaining proper form.
Remember, there’s a lot of movement in some of these exercises, so keeping your core tight, and sturdy throughout these exercises is important to protect your back and other muscles from injury. I recommend testing out these exercises with a lighter weight until you get the movements down.
